Susan P. Randall has 12 years of experience in the financial services industry, and is licensed in life, health and annuities in Virginia, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Texas, South Carolina, Maryland, and North Carolina. She specializes in helping individuals and families protect what matters most through annuities, life insurance, final expense coverage, and mortgage protection.

“My practice is built on one simple belief: financial security shouldn’t be complicated, and every family deserves peace of mind. I chose this profession because I’ve seen firsthand how the right protection can change a family’s future, and how the lack of it can create unnecessary hardship.”

“I want to be the person who steps in before a crisis, not after, giving people clarity, confidence, and a plan they can rely on,” Susan says. “I help families protect their income, their home, and their legacy. My job is to make sure that when life happens, expected or unexpected, your family is financially secure.”

Susan’s approach is entirely needs‑based, not product‑based. “I don’t believe in one‑size‑fits-all insurance. I take the time to understand each client’s goals, concerns, and budget before recommending anything. Education is a big part of what I do. Insurance can feel overwhelming, and my job is to make sure everything is explained in plain language so that clients know exactly what they’re getting and why it matters,” she says.

“I contribute to my clients’ success by helping them protect their home and income, ensuring their family is financially secure no matter what life brings. I create guaranteed retirement income, with contractual guarantees backed by the financial strength of insurance companies, through annuities. And I provide solutions that remove the burden of final expenses for loved ones. My role is to bring clarity and confidence to their financial future, guiding them through decisions that can feel overwhelming. I help clients avoid costly gaps in coverage, making sure their protection is complete, reliable, and aligned with their goals.”

“Often, the greatest value I provide is peace of mind knowing their family is protected and their future is secure. What I love most is seeing the relief on someone’s face when they realize they finally have a plan. Helping a family protect their home, ensuring a spouse won’t struggle financially, or giving someone the comfort of knowing their final expenses won’t burden their children are some of the things I do that can make a real difference in people’s lives, and that’s what keeps me passionate about what I do.”

“My mission as an insurance consultant is to protect families, secure their financial future, and bring clarity to some of life’s most important decisions. I’m committed to helping people prepare for the unexpected so they can live with confidence, knowing their home, income, and loved ones are protected. My goal is to make insurance simple, accessible, and meaningful. Not just a policy, but a plan that supports the life they’re building. Every day, I strive to be a trusted guide, offering honest advice, long‑term support, and solutions that truly fit each client’s needs and goals.”

Growing up in Lakeland, Florida, Susan’s childhood was full of sunshine and adventure. She spent her time climbing trees, riding horses through the orange groves, wakeboarding on the lakes, playing every sport she could, and spending countless days at the beach. She credits her upbringing as foundational to her approach. “That mix of freedom, fun, and strong community values taught me the importance of connection, resilience, and taking care of the people around you. Those lessons still guide me today, both in my personal life and in the work I do for my clients,” she says.

Susan graduated from Florida Southern College with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a minor in English. As she puts it, “Psychology taught me how to truly listen, understand people’s concerns, and help them navigate emotional decisions. English sharpened my communication skills explaining complex topics in a way that feels simple and clear. Together, they shaped the way I work: thoughtful and focused on making sure people feel understood and supported.”

Married for 13 years, Susan’s family is at the heart of everything she does. “We have two children, one 25 and one 12. Like many parents, I spend a lot of time juggling schedules, supporting big dreams, and cheering from the sidelines. My youngest plays competitive soccer, and our weekends are often spent traveling, practicing, and navigating the fast-paced world of youth sports. It keeps life busy, but it also keeps it full,” she says.

In 2012, life brought Susan to Suffolk, Virginia, and it quickly became home. “The move taught me adaptability, resilience, and the importance of building strong relationships wherever you are.”

Outside of work, Susan loves staying active, exploring new places, and continually learning. Traveling is one of her favorite ways to recharge. “I recently visited Vietnam, and the experience was unforgettable. When I’m home, you can usually find me reading or getting in a good workout. I’m a big fan of trivia and love anything that challenges me to think in new ways. I’m learning Spanish and taking guitar lessons, both of which keep me curious and growing. These interests bring balance to my busy life and help me stay energized for my family and my clients.”
